".. will also perform a piece, I would call it a musical joke, based on a story ... written by the Brothers Grimm, but it draws inspiration from Jewish folklore in southern Germany and Austria, and tells the story of a pear that refuses to fall. That's precisely its title. For this piece, we have a very young, but extremely talented, musician as the solo narrator. His name is Paul Gămurari, and he's only eight years old. He's a student of Ciprian Porumbescu at the Ciprian Porumbescu High School. But we needed a musician because he's not just a narrator; he also has to keep time with the orchestra. Paul does a fantastic job."
